Classic Car Mania!

At the last meeting of Shepperton Classic Cars in October about 15 or so vehicles turned up. Imagine my surprise at turning the corner into Manor Park to see a full car park of gleaming bonnets and chrome lined up for inspection, enthusiastic owners comparing notes and visitors dreaming of the day they will join the group of classic car owners. There was a Trabant, a 1931 Ford Model A, lots of MG’s and Jags, a Jenson and even a little Wolsey.

Organiser Gary Critcher said “ I was amazed at the amount of both people and vehicles that turned up, at the last count it was over 50 cars, bikes and even a Ford Transit! I was very pleased again with the positive comments on the event. It seems I have uncovered a hotbed of classic car ownership in and around Shepperton!”

The next meet will be in the next 2-3 months, the date will be up on the website as soon as it is firmed up. Any classic vehicle is welcome, especially if it is your first time.
