St Andrew’s Baptist Church, Upper Halliford welcomes their new Pastor Tom Hoyles and his wife Wyn to their church fellowship after being without a Pastor for over 3 ½ years. The Induction service will be Sunday 19th September 2021 10.30am and all are welcome.
Pastor Tom Hoyles brings a wealth of experience with him having grown up in the Salvation Army and with his wife Wyn were commissioned Salvation Army Officers for 11 years, 9 of which were in Addlestone. He then had responsibility for being a Pastor of another local church in the Addlestone/Chertsey area for five years.
Tom and Wyn are very much “people people.” They enjoy meeting people of all ages and are passionate about Jesus Christ being known within our local community. They love being part of a local community and plan to move into the Shepperton area in the not too distant future. Tom and Wyn bring a lot of experience of engaging church within community through differ-ent events, activities and programmes and are so pleased St Andrew’s Baptist Church has a rich tradition of doing just that. They have two children and six grand children all of whom attend a local church in Chertsey. Most of their spare time is spent with their grand children which Tom and Wyn enjoy enormously.
