It’s June! Let’s have some sun. The Molesey Carnival is upon us again on Saturday June 10th! Best wishes from Molesey Matters to all involved. Personally I am really looking forward to having a go at the Zorb racing – just what I need for my bad back! The front cover is obviously Mr Mole, taken last year by Ted Palmer. If the sun is out, that’s one hot costume.
In this month’s issue the Molesey Local History Society informs us of the origins of the Molesey Hurst Golf Club. We look at the love life of the Duke of Windsor with a local socialite, and is the Poyntz Arms named after a local resident? We review local restaurant Mezzet and ask for help to solve the mystery of the boat “The Jane Scott” Della Reynolds continues her ever popular Urban Wildlife Blog and the Molesey Residents Association updates us on all things Molesey.
