Now in it’s 5th year the popular Walton-on-Thames Beer, Wine & live Music Festival is an annual summer event hosted at the picturesque Walton-on-Thames Cricket Club.
A hidden gem of Walton located close to the town centre just behind Homebase. Organised by a team of local volunteers the festival brings together the best local musical talent, appetising food vendors, real ale breweries and businesses interested in supporting the local community resulting in a fantastic night out.
With an exciting live music line up, this year we will see the return of the hugely popular Brickwork (Friday) and Jafuso Blue (Saturday) and two new bands, Peaches & Prairie Dogs (Friday) and Covers Collection (Saturday). The festival is a not for profit community event which raises essential funds for local charities and the cricket club.
This year’s selected charities are Elmbridge Community Link (ECL) and Music in Hospitals & Care (MiHC).ECL enrich the lives of people with learning disabilities. They deliver activities at centres in Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, Esher and West Molesey, helping people to live happier, healthier and fuller lives. MiHC delivers the joy of live music to a wide range of people who, due to health conditions or disability, are unable to access or experience live music. Walton Cricket Club deliver a range of fun inclusive activities and events to people with disabilities and our local state schools via its community outreach programme.
